Additionally, our scale of operations allows us to control costs and maintain consistent, predictable pricing year after year.From the beginning of the growth process to final harvesting, only the strongest and healthiest of fish are maintained in Lonestar Aquafarms’ production chain. Our brood stock are native Texas redfish and are free from genetic enhancement or other tampering. All eggs used at our farm come from these fish and are naturally spawned and fertilized. Before incubation, these eggs are carefully evaluated against a stringent, quality control process. Those eggs that pass are approved for hatching and later stocked into our grow-out ponds. At each step thereafter, our fish are carefully graded and selected to move through the production process as a uniform group.
